Someone broke a prop I checked out. Why am I being asked to pay for it?

The person who signed the rental agreement form is responsible for all damages. If a Prop is broken because of rental neglect, the Prop Shop Supervisor may decide on one of the following:

  • The Renter replaces the prop
  • The Renter reimburses the Prop Shop for a dollar amount set by the Prop Shop Supervisor
  • The renter comes to the shop by arrangement with the Prop Shop Supervisor for instruction on how to repair the prop in a “prop-er” fashion.

The final decision is that of the Prop Shop Supervisor.
