The Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Foundation has begun accepting applications for the 2008-2009 Fred Rogers Memorial Scholarship and once again this year, we will be awarding three $10,000 scholarships to students looking to pursue careers in Children's Media in the fields of either Production of Original Content or Research.

SFSU READER'S THEATRE PROJECT LOOKING FOR PARTICIPANTS IN SPRING 09 TOUR OF
I.B. SINGER'S COMIC FABLE, "THE FOOLS OF CHELM"

A comic children's story by I.B. Singer will be read aloud for audiences
off campus by a touring ensemble of SFSU students this Spring, under the
direction of faculty member Joel Schechter.

Dr. Schechter is seeking a limited number of students to participate as
readers and musicians in this one-unit performance course (Th A 335) that
will rehearse on campus and then perform off campus on Thursday afternoons
between 2 and 5PM.
